Profile

Carol was first introduced to gardening as a child by her mother, who was both an extraordinary gardener and artist. These first experiences with gardening set the path for Carol to pursue the exploration of plants and design.

After a successful career in the business world, Carol returned to school and obtained Certifications in both Horticulture and Landscape Design.  Through her worldwide travels and associations with the APLD and OCLDN, she continues to learn and “cultivate” her skills.  As a Master Gardener, her education about the challenges and rewards of Southern California gardening continued through her previous volunteer work with the UCCE Master Gardeners.

Garden Design creates a flow between your home’s interior and the outdoor space that surrounds it.  Let us show you how you can maximize the use of a smaller space(s), envision a new purpose for all or some of your existing lawn, how better gardening practices can allow you to keep the traditional plants you love but use less water, incorporate features like herb or vegetable gardens or areas designated for play, and many other design concepts.
